In depth
Verdict
Amanda Perrett looks to have found an easy opportunity for Alfie Noakes who is taken to beat Limit and Cash On. This son of Groom Dancer started his career in a decent Newbury maiden in September, finishing a close up third to Esquire. He found it a little tough going next time on softish ground at Bath when a beaten favourite, but there is every chance he will handle this Polytrack surface today and he looks the one to beat. Limit, who ran creditably on soft first time, ran as though something was amiss on her second outing. She hails from a top yard and can be given another chance against this opposition. Cash On contested a very competitive maiden at Newmarket won by his stable companion Proclamation. There were some well touted newcomers in that event so it could turn out to be well above average. Cash On is capable of any amount of improvement and get into a place at a decent price, however Alfie Noakes can put his experience to good use here and is given the vote.
