In depth
Verdict
A fair contest in prospect but Atlantic City can land the spoils at the expense of Taminoula and Bank On Him. Neil Callan has stuck with the four-year-old having landed a maiden aboard him three weeks ago and by all accounts, Lydia Richards' charge looks to have overcome the training troubles that plagued his earlier career. Taminoula is still well-treated with regard to turf form. She has rather worryingly made a habit of finding one too good too often. Bank On Him owes connections nothing. He handled the old track and proved he was no back number when landing his thirteenth all-weather success under Jimmy Quinn a couple of days ago. Amwell Brave took twenty-two races to win his maiden and did beat our selection in the process. The draw has not been kind this afternoon. The Violin Player is upped in trip following a couple of near misses over ten furlongs. Eastborough is respected having had course-and-distance form round here and with Stef Liddiard enjoying her best spell in the training ranks for some time. Duelling Banjos is watched on a return to twelve furlongs.Gingko is consulted in the market for any signs of encouragement. The enigmatic Atlantic City can take this in spite of some stiff competition.
