In depth

Verdict

Desert Wind won easily over a similar trip at Wolverhampton earlier this month but is penalised 7lb for his trouble. He should go well again but AMBIENT is expected to improve over today’s longer trip having been beaten only a neck over a mile here recently and Roger Varian’s charge gets the nod. The remainder with experience have shown little so far with Round The Buoy a likely improver while Sociologist
