In depth

Verdict

Baby Gal went close over 7f here last week and SONNET ROSE finished runner-up in the other division of the same handicap. But the latter is proven over today’s distance and may edge proceedings today. Tigerfish is another with something to prove over a mile after finishing second at Kempton while Tarseekh has been thereabouts off similar marks recently but has yet to win. Lord Murphy and Chelwood Gate are both course and distance winners looking to exploit a slide down the weights with the latter preferred.
