      Verdict

SAYESSE makes a quick reappearance after a fair run in a slightly better race at Wolverhampton on Friday and though he's never won on the all-weather this looks a good opportunity. Daring Guest was only beaten a head off a 1lb higher mark at Kempton in October after winning there on his previous start so he's on the shortlist. Bernie's Boy, who won over 5f here last month, stepped up a furlong to land a Class 6 handicap a couple of weeks ago but a 6lb rise over this longer trip makes things a bit more difficult. It's a long time since Mansfield won but his best recent run came over this course and distance in December.
