      Verdict

      Sotomayor has never won in ten starts and though he couldn't have gone much closer over the track and trip last time connections won't be pleased with a 5lb rise. Mouchee, who was over 3l back in third, started favourite on a return visit and looked like winning until caught in the closing stages. He had GOOD IMPRESSION (NAP) a length away in fourth but Ali Stronge's charge was tackling the trip for the first time and held up but finished well and would have been closer but for slight interference so gets the vote. Winged Spur was soon beaten when attempting to make all over 1m2f here last month but may be held up this time to get the longer trip.
