Verdict
Majhool is out to get the losses back and can do so at the expense of Lucayan Monarch, Supreme Salutation and Lady Piste in the claimer. Majhool's last victory was also in this type of company in October when he won fairly convincingly from Point Of Dispute, but since then Gary Moore's charge has been below his best in three subsequent outings. It has to be said that he looks an awkward ride and is not one to trust implicitly. However, he was fancied last time and the booking of Darryll Holland suggests that connections are giving him one more chance. He certainly has more than enough ability to score again at this level and is the selection. Lucayan Monarch does not know how to run a bad race and is as honest as they come. A winner in the past for Paul Blockley, he too was a beaten favourite last time out, but will be plugging on gamely as usual and is worth considering for a place at least. Supreme Salutation returned to winning ways over further at Southwell eight days ago and might not appreciate the combination of faster conditions and drop in trip, while Lady Piste has been hard to pace and although finally coming good here three weeks ago, will need to break as smartly as she did then to take a hand. In a moderate contest, Majhool is the pick.
