Verdict
A high class hurdle in which King Eider, Visibility and Master Papa are likely to be among the major players and we will stick with the first named. Nicky Henderson has made something of a habit of plundering top prizes and the recent Wincanton winner can score off what looks to be a reasonable handicap mark. Although a free runner in his earlier races, he settled down to the task nicely under Tony McCoy last time out and a reproduction of that performance should suffice. Visibilty was outclassed in the Tote Gold Trophy, he is perhaps better judged on his victory earlier in the season at Ascot. The form of that race being upheld by Tikram, who has gone on to take three races since. Master Papa's recent effort at Stratford is best forgotten as he was hampered in that contest. He showed plenty of scope when scoring at Kempton and connections appear to have settled upon this as being his ideal trip. Never is watched in the market for any signs of encouragement while supporters of Fenix will not bemoan any further rainfall. In a competitive opener, King Eider gets the call.
