Verdict
Harry's Dream can land the Novice Steeple Chase with Burundi and Rudi Knight the most likely players for the forecast slot. Philip Hobbs' charge was already a winning pointer before making the transition to the Somerset handler and while his jumping is not the greatest, he is well treated off this mark and appears capable of handling any surface. Rudi Knight is another who is potentially well handicapped. Hurdling looks out for him given that he was racing off marks of 130+ at one stage and he duly took advantage of a lenient chase rating to score at Market Rasen. He may be in need of the run today and the market is appropriately consulted. Burundi will be held up to customarily play his hand late. He arguably should have beaten Mounsey Castle on his last outing but with Jim Culloty in the plate, there is no chance of any unerring over-confidence in the saddle today. Motcomb Jam put in a good effort on his reappearance and while he is a tough horse, there are obvious doubts about his stamina. Harrycone Lewis has been described as a hard ride by the trainer and is upped in class. Harry's Dream is duly selected.
