Verdict

The three to look out for in this conditions stakes are Trophy Pride, Titus Maximus and Grimes Faith with the vote going to the last named. A winner twice from four starts Grimes Faith comes here in good form. His latest success at Bath proved this horse has real dash and the fact that his other win come over course and distance will help hold his claims. He looks an improving type and is worth staying on the right side of. Trophy Pride is still a maiden after five starts but has been unlucky to come up against some tidy types. He ran well at Nottingham finishing second to Ochre Bay and will be winning racing in time. As will Titus Maximus who has already had the taste of success at Musselburgh on his penultimate run but was disappointing in better company at Epsom last time out. This will be easier but for the winner we return to Grimes Faith.
