Proper Charlie went very close over 6f here last Saturday but his previous modest efforts over today's distance leave something to be desired. LARGHETTO won over 7f at Wolverhampton earlier in the year and, with a couple of recent outings over longer trips under his belt, he could well return to form in this. Triple Aitch and Gypsy Rider have recent placed efforts on the all-weather to their credit but Brighton winner Bestfootforward has been well beaten in three subsequent starts. Purley Queen could prove best of the rest.
