Verdict
The Robert Cowell-trained Forever Phoenix will not find many easier openings to prove herself on a faster surface than this and the daughter of Shareef Dancer is confidently expected to confirm recent form with Park Star today. Of the rest: Blonde En Blonde is hard to predict but is respected on the best of her form and cannot be ruled out of a place at least, while And Toto Too acts well at this course and should not be too far away if coping with the drop in trip. A bigger danger could come from Miss Poppets though, as the form of her maiden win from last October reads quite well in the context of this race. It will be no surprise to see Richard Quinn bounce her out of the stalls and make a bold bid for home if she is still there in shake-up entering the home straight. However, Forever Phoenix is proving hard to beat when tracking a strong pace and she is taken to exploit any weaknesses in her rivals at the finish; especially as her connections obviously mean business with Johnny Murtagh booked to do the steering.
