Verdict
It will be no surprise to see Alafzar ridden with more patience today and the mount of Kieren Fallon will be hard to keep out of the frame if he can be delivered late on the scene. However, Zak Facta makes more appeal at the likely prices and is fancied to uphold recent form with mount of the champion jockey on these terms. Blakeseven and Aguila Loco are others to consider after both have shown glimpses of promise in their last few starts, but neither has really been noted for consistency and may be set for only minor roles today. Therefore, Zak Facta, who has always been better on this faster surface than those at Southwell or Wolverhampton, is given a slender vote of confidence today. Simon Whitworth rides this course as well as anybody on the current all weather circuit and it will be interesting to see if adopts a waiting game with this son of Danetime here. Zak Facta has shaped as if he has a race within him on many occasions in the past and is given one more chance to prove it today.
