        Verdict

        A trappy affair and we like Mon Petite Amour is selected ahead of Aphrodisia and Casablanca Minx. The David Arbuthnot team seem to be rolling along nicely at the moment and the five-year-old, who has solid course and distance form, has to have an obvious chance of going close in a race where there are likely to be many live dangers. Aphrodisia may still be a maiden but she has done little wrong in the past and there is every chance that today's drop in trip might help matters. Casablanca Minx is completely exposed although David Evans could literally send out the stable cat at the moment and it would have every chance of winning! Keidas returns from something of an absence. Meditation has gone off the boil while the market should tell us what is anticipated from Tinnarinka. Not an easy race to call and Mon Petite Amour snatches the tentative vote.
