        Verdict

        BERNIE'S BOY has been keeping better company this year and went close at Ascot, Goodwood and Newmarket during the summer. Rated 83, he can finally get his head in front today. King Oswald made a modest start at Kempton last month but the Godolphin colt looks a likely improver along with Toledo, who steps up in distance on his first start since June. Many Dreams has plenty to find with the selection on these terms but Kiringa hails from last year's winning yard and may finish a lot closer on only her second start.
