      Verdict

A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be I Wish, Lady Protector, Boavista, Lady Pekan and Empress Josephine and we will take a chance on Lady Protector. The selection won well last time out when defeating Musical Fair, that form has since been franked and despite her penalty with conditions again in her favour she will be hard to beat. I Wish rates the main danger she also won well last time out when defeating Effective but she will do well to give weight and a beating to the selection. Boavista is another that should go well she won well last time out when defeating Glencoe Solas but she will do well to win this more competitive affair under top weight. Lady Pekan is another worthy of respect but she was behind the selection last time and although she is better off at the weights the selection won with plenty in hand and she will need to improve to gain her revenge. Of the remainder Empress Josephine.has been in form but all her best efforts are on the AW and for the winner we return to Lady Protector.
