Verdict

VERAWAL showed nothing in three starts on the Flat but it was a different matter on his introduction to hurdling at Down Royal where he could hardly have been more impressive with Celtic Artisan well behind. He'll be at prohibitive odds but can hardly be opposed. Glance Of Doon, a winner on the Flat at Tramore in May, made a fair start behind Atan over timber at Tramore and is certain to have benefited from the run. Gordon Elliott's newcomer Credulous would need to be a bit special to trouble the selection.
