In depth

Verdict

LORD BEN, Hospital and False Economy fought out a finish on this track in June with the former looking good value for his victory. He defied a 6lb rise to score subsequently at Wexford than ran very well in the Galway Plate so looks to have every chance of adding to his tally here, especially with his rider using his claim. Back Off Mate is progressing nicely and followed his victory on the Flat at Sligo by scoring over fences at Ballinrobe for which a 6lb rise doesn't look excessive. Nearest The Pin is better handicapped over hurdles but the opposite is the case with Run With The Wind, who looks well treated if returning to form.
