My Painter landed a Bellewstown claimer and has since run well over hurdles, though he has no winning form on ground this testing. STAMP OF AUTHORITY (NAP) gained the first victory of his career over 7f here on Tuesday when obviously suited by the conditions. The longer trip won't be a problem and, as he was due to go down 3lb for this race, his 5lb penalty shouldn't prevent a quick double. Hatton Cross has only won three times in 38 starts, all over 6f, but Kandahari looked to have a chance in the 2.30 here yesterday though this is much tougher. Miss Ballygally will love the conditions but is 10lb higher than her only victory.
