Golden Spear won twice on the Flat and was still in touch when falling on his debut over hurdles at Wetherby. John Constable scored for Aidan O'Brien on the Flat and is rated 92 so he's a nice acquisition for hurdling and Evan Williams will get the best out of him. SWIVEL has an even higher rating on the level having scored six times for Mark Johnston. He came up against a couple of smart young hurdlers on his debut at Kempton and will be suited by further in time but will have learnt from the experience and A P McCoy can steer him home. Mighty Missile, a maiden on the Flat after nine starts, did a bit better on his hurdling bow at Fontwell though he's likely to need more but Tim Vaughan's recruit from France, Ashkoun, is interesting after his victory in a maiden at Agen in July.
