Verdict
This looks a better than average bumper for the track with some nice looking newcomers taking on experienced rivals with strong form. Clemency could prove best of the first-timers as she is by Halling, who produces winners on the Flat and over jumps, and out of an unraced mare from a high-class family. Rene's Girl has a more conventional jumping pedigree and she looks one to note before going hurdling. Morning Herald was a 50/1 chance when making her debut over 1m5f at Exeter but belied her odds with a fine effort in what could turn out to be a decent contest. SURTEE DU BERLAIS looked to be struggling at halfway on her debut at Warwick but stayed on really well to get close to Lifeboat Mona, who has since won a Listed contest at Huntingdon. That's excellent form and she may just have the edge though Rose Revived made a promising start behind Amour D'Or at Newbury and that winner looks useful.
