In depth

Verdict

Colin's Brother had been looking a likely future winner before stepping out of his class at Cheltenham where he blundered his way round. FATHER EDWARD, who showed real potential on his successful debut in a bumper, has failed to follow up and been a short price in most of his subsequent starts. The champion jockey knows him well and hopefully can persuade him to produce his best. Thats My Rabbit, a winning bumper at Kilbeggan in June, ran quite well on his hurdling bow at Fakenham though he'll need to step-up to get into the frame here. Horsehill scored between the flags at Loughanmore in April and caught the eye on his debut for new connections over this course and distance in November when Stand Aside was behind. He should go well while New Horizons has shown a bit of potential and can be expected to do better.
