        Verdict

        Ludlow's penultimate event, the Chase Meredith Memorial Hunters' Chase, sees Stewart Pike's mare Fashion House make her debut over fences following two wins in points and there is no doubting that she possesses ability. However, she faces no straightforward task against the likes of Blackberry Way and Derring Dove, the latter in particular likely to put his experience to good use. Blackberry Way caused a bit of a surprise when scoring at odds 0f 16-1 at Huntingdon in May of last year, and faced a tall order when a distant third to the mighty Kingscliff at Wincanton on his reappearance in February. A staying on third at Newbury last time out, Louise Cullen's mare will appreciate the longer trip and faster ground here, and although she has had problems with her legs in the past, she seems in good enough heart at present to warrant support at a likely better price than the unproven Fashion House.
