In depth
Verdict
Grey Paint probably had too much use made of him on his hurdling debut at Fontwell last month but still showed decent form and, ridden with more restraint today, David Pipe's gelding should be too good for main rivals Tora Petcha and Iberian Light. The last mentioned has shown signs of ability from limited opportunities over hurdles but would need to improve to trouble the selection. Boss Mak is difficult to recommend following his latest effort at Fontwell, while Project Sunshine is lightly raced and open to improvement but needs to get involved at the business end of the race. Tora Petcha is a consistent performer and should again be thereabouts but Grey Paint represents an in-form yard and should have learnt a lot from his hurdling debut.
