In depth
Verdict
Somewin can score again at the expense of Cornish Sett, with Potts of Magic, Gold Again and Prairie Fire others to note if the market speaks in their favour. The only winner in the line-up is Somewin who opened her account when dead-heating at Musselburgh in February, and is well treated as one of the four-year-olds on view. Her success, albeit shared, was no surprise as she was sent off favourite on her debut at the Scottish track as well. Kelly Marks's filly obviously has her fair share of ability and will be fancied to follow up. Cornish Sett unseated Mark Bradburne at the start on his Hereford debut just two days ago so gets another chance to show what he can do here. Given the strength in the Nicholls yard in this department, it would be no surprise if he were to go close, while Potts of Magic, by Classic Cliche out of a Strong Gale mare, could be anything in time. For the winner, we return to Somewin.
