Verdict
Hey Bill is two from two around here and beat The Happy Chappy, who won this last year, and Muckle Roe over 3m in April, though this will be the furthest he’s so far tackled. Dreamsoftheatre has been in good form over hurdles lately but this will be his first run over fences since August of last year when second at Market Rasen off a 12lb lower mark. Hepijeu also seems better over timber nowadays while Royal Tara has yet to win under Rules, though has been very lightly raced. Gardiners Hill bids to follow up last week’s win at Warwick under a penalty but AGAMEMMON looked in need of the race at Southwell last month and ran accordingly. He should have plenty more to offer over fences and the step up in trip shouldn’t be a problem. Little Windmill looks in the handicapper’s grip now.
