In depth

Verdict

De Bruyne Horse didn’t stay much beyond 7f on the Flat so it’s anybody’s guess how he’ll cope with the minimum NH distance. Metatrons Cube probably has a better chance of lasting home as he won over 1m2f at Windsor in July. Song For Someone is best watched on his UK debut so ELYSEES looks the one to beat. Alan King’s charge is a stayer in the making and is unlikely to be suited by this sharp track but the Warwick winner’s experience will count for plenty against these. Canadian George hinted at ability at Wetherby, despite finishing last, and will probably find a small race in the coming months. Flere Imsaho wears a hood after racing too freely at Huntingdon.
