Verdict

BITOFAPUZZLE was long odds-on for a Grade 2 race at Thurles last week but blundered and unseated Noel Fehily three out when going clear. Compensation awaits here with a clear round, though Kalane has ability and started favourite for a Listed contest at Doncaster last month so shouldn't be ignored. Teochew sprang a surprise at Sedgefield in October but has struggled since and Goldray makes her chasing bow at the age of 10 having failed to record a career win so far.
