Verdict

Lord Lir was well beaten in two runs in the autumn and today's going is likely to be much too soft. Zama Zama won over 2m4f here in November but this trip looks too short. George Nympton is a shadow of his former self but Guanciale is getting closer and Smoking Jacket showed a bit more last time. JAUNTY INFLIGHT just ran out of steam when caught by the rallying Cappielow Park at Uttoxeter but that was still a promising first effort over fences and he could go one better today having only been raised 2lb.
