      In depth

      Verdict

Super Kenny's latest run at Taunton was too bad to be true and he's only a pound higher than when third at Newbury in November. Scoter Fontaine was in good form in the autumn but has been well below-par on his two most recent starts and his stable is going through a quiet spell at present. Rock Of Deauville has finished third in both starts over hurdles so far and gets a handy weight-for-age allowance but doesn't look particularly progressive while Highway Code was a very lucky winner at Leicester last time, though had been in a winning position when falling at Warwick previously. HERON BAY has been very busy since winning at Aintree last June but is holding his form extremely well and may not be finished yet. Peter Bowen's charge is much preferred to Chrysander, who is only a plater nowadays.
