Verdict
Cobreces has to give weight away all round but has solid claims nevertheless and gets the vote ahead of Moscow Court, Colliers Quay and promising pointer Tsar's Twist. Cobreces has won twice round here in the past and was successful over Haydock's fences in February. Although the ground was testing that day, he has won on fast going, and this one-time useful novice chaser, who is still only eight, has a bright future among the hunters. Mid-division in the Cheltenham Foxhunter behind Whyso Mayo, he may have been feeling the effects of that effort when beaten at Bangor last time, but with Jamie Snowdon in the plate, he is taken to bounce back here. Moscow Court has been a model of consistency, but did not jump well at Towcester last time and his tendency to hang to the left under pressure is a worry as well. Colliers Quay let his supporters down when odds-on to land a point last time, and a bigger danger may be Tsar's Twist who has been in terrific form between the flags. Cobreces has the class though and should prove hard to beat.
