Shahnameh can make a winning debut, with Cheer Us On, Kedgeree and Overbryn all interesting contenders in the finale. Paul Webber is always worth noting with his bumper debutantes, and with Tom Doyle on board, we can safely assume that Shahnameh is the best of the stable's two runners here. The son of Anshan is related to quite a few winning chasers and so will be brought along steadily no doubt, but could still be good enough here. Cheer Us On has more experience, having had two outings, and will know what is required so will be fancied to make the frame at least, while Kedgeree finished a promising fifth to the useful Sir Jimmy Shand on his introduction at Ayr so has to be considered. Ginger McCain has a good record with his bumper inmates as well, so Overbryn should not be discounted either, but a small wager on Shahnameh may prove fruitful.
