    In depth

    Verdict

Clive Cox won this with Reckless Abandon in 2012 and Tis Marvellous steps up in class on the back of an impressive maiden win at Windsor. But the unbeaten PRINCE LIR also represents the UK and Robert Cowell’s colt has form in the book having landed the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Ascot in fine style with subsequent Listed and Group 3 winners behind. He should make a bold bid in this. German raider Hargeisa is also unbeaten and won a Group 3 in Italy last month while the French fillies Al Johrah, second in the Queen Mary at Ascot, and Cosachope are closely matched on collateral form.
