Verdict
Royal Macnab appears to have lost his way on recent starts whereas HINDON ROAD, withdrawn from a prior engagement this week, came good when lasting home at Bangor. He stays further than this so expect Wayne Hutchinson to adopt an attacking policy to draw the sting from his rivals. He can handle a 6lb hike in the ratings on ground to suit. Sirius Star scored here last month in a messy affair but that was his first outing over fences under Rules and the former point-to-pointer commands respect. Explained, Lily Little Legs and Gold Ingot can all have cases argued for them in an open race whilst Our Cat is simply a puzzle, having performed here the last twice - winning comfortably enough and then pulling up just 10 days later. He's now pulled up on four of his last five starts so it all depends which version turns up now.
