Verdict

Another competitive field goes to post for this beginners chase but the principals look to be Joe Cullen, Colquhoun and Rainbow Dance and we will take a chance on Joe Cullen. The eight-year-old from the Ian Williams yard was a good second in his first chase behind Lirfox and he had every chance when falling last time out, if his confidence has not been effected he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Colquhoun would have a chance on his best form but he was very disappointing behind Sunday Rain on Friday. Rainbow Dance could also go well he was a fair fourth behind Shampooed in a handicap last time and this looks easier but his best form over hurdles came with more cut in the ground so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Toad Hall showed improved form last time but he will need to improve again to take a hand in the finish so we are happy to stick with Joe Cullen.
