In depth
Verdict
Golden Odyssey could be a decent recruit to this game and is taken to land the spoils from Wicked Nice Fella and Ding Dong Belle. Tony McCoy rode this superbly bred daughter of Barathea to two bumper victories last season and renews the partnership today. The form of of all three of his victories has worked out quite well and so against what appear to be a modest bunch he looks set to make a winning debut over hurdles. Wicked Nice Fella did manage a victory last time in a rag-tag affair at Fakenham. The first three finished in a heap so the form is probably nothing special, however he could be the main threat to the selection. Ding Dong Belle was third in a moderate Bangor hurdle last time and looks set to fill the same berth again. All in all this looks an easy opportunity for Golden Odyssey and he is given a confident vote.
