In depth

Verdict

Audacter is a bold jumping gutsy performer and despite top weight he is taken to score with conditions in his favour. Sheperds Rest was a disappointing favourite when he returned to hurdles at Bangor on Friday off a good mark and he has never won off a mark this high over fences but he is reunited with Tony McCoy and he should go well. Grate Deel was slightly disappointing last time out but he may get an easy lead here and if he does he will be hard to beat. Gallion's Reach could also go well despite creeping up the weights if his jumping holds up.
