In depth

Verdict

QUEENS GAMBLE is one of the market leaders for the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham which is hardly surprising given that both very easy victories have been on that track, including a Listed race there in November. Dysart Enos finished runner-up in an Irish point before making a successful bumper debut at Ludlow where she travelled well throughout. Mellificent hails from a yard in top form and had a bit in hand when landing the odds at Uttoxeter while Tipperary Star has run well in all three starts and could be better suited by the quicker ground. Take No Chances had the remainder well beaten when runner-up to Inthewaterside at Exeter and the winner followed up in impressive style at Sandown on Saturday.
