Verdict
Corlande is confidently expected to get back on the right track today. Razzamatazz and Highland Chief are fancied to pose the most problems along the way. Highland Chief was a solid mover in the market before his last start, so it is safe to assume that someone thinks he has a race within him. The gelding needs to start improving quickly, though. And no quarter measures will be good enough. Drying ground would suit Razzamatazz, as his best form has come on slightly better ground. Still, he can be a force at this level and may give the selection a hard time if he gets things his own way. However, Corlande does look a more solid option on this occasion and this looks a good opening for him to gain quick compensation for his final fence fall last time out. The was a an uncharacteristic mishap from this usually sound jumper and he is expected to take the beating if stays on his feet this time.
