      Verdict

Sonnengold is preferred to Dance The Mambo and Cusp in a tricky little contest. The last named gained second career success when scoring at Plumpton last month. His yard have been in good form since the turn of the year and another bold bid can be expected in this company. Betting market support would be interesting. Dance The Mambo (who looks the pick of Mick Easterby's string to make the journey to Market Rasen) comes here inn good heart - having been victorious in two of her last three starts. The Benny The Dip mare handles the ground and appears to be the best alternative to the selection. However, Sonnengold has the edge on recent form and, although he is no world beater, he appears to have been found an ideal opportunity to strike.
