Verdict
Sacco D'Oro returns to hurdling after a couple of spins on the all-weather and looks to have a chance judged on January's win at Southwell. Patavium finished a respectable third on his recent comeback at Catterick and can figure, while the best form of Barron Watlass entitles him to consideration. The going was good when SCRUM V won over C&D in January so it was no surprise to see him falter in testing ground at Kelso last time. With conditions more in his favour today, John Davies' gelding can return to winning ways.
