In depth

Verdict

Georgian King should take all the beating here if none the worse for his tumble at Uttoxeter. Black Mogul may be able to improve sufficiently to chase him home. The selection's best form is in a different class to today's opponents and, although he may ideally prefer further than this, he should prove very hard to beat here as long as his jumping holds up following that fall at Uttoxeter. Gaelic Present sees out this trip well enough and could finish in the money again but there's little to choose between him and Tide Slider on official figures although Steve Gollings charge has his stamina to prove. Stamina is no issue for Black Mogul who was staying on quite well at Cartmel last time over this trip on just his third start over hurdles and he's open to further improvement but it would be a major surprise were he to get the better of Georgian King.
