Verdict

Ciceron won for the first time since 2013 when scoring over track and trip recently. He could go well again despite a hike in the weights but it could pay to stick with top weight PRINCE KHURRAM in this. Donald McCain’s charge won at Perth before going close off a similar mark to today at Cartmel last time. The Yank posted a better effort when third at Uttoxeter and is not badly weighted though Ulis De Vassy and Le Bacardy have yet to show any improvement for slipping down the handicap. Classinaglass is back on a winning mark but arrives out of form.
