Verdict
A wide open contest gets proceedings under way and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Perisienne Gale, Rifleman and Nobel and the vote is given to Perisienne Gale. The selection has been in good form of late over fences, he returns to hurdles on a handy mark and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Rifleman rates the main danger as he has dropped to a handy mark but he is becoming hard to win with so can not be put forward with any confidence. Nobel hails from a yard in top form and is another that could go well but he looks high enough in the weights for what he has actually archived and for that reason he is over looked. Of the remainder Alpine Hideaway has conditions to suit and could go well at a price but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Perisienne Gale.
