    Verdict

Lady Laureate gets the vote here with Roppongi Dancer and Cliquey the others worthy of serious consideration. The selection was a disappointing beaten favourite at Southwell last time but she did not jump at all fluently that day and did not have conditions to suit. She will have things more in her favour here and should take all the beating. Roppongi Dancer looks the main danger based on her second behind Solway Gale at Carlisle. She was upped in trip for the first time on that day so there could still be more to come from her. Cliquey finished behind Douceur Des Songes at Uttoxeter on Wednesday in a weak race and there is a suspicion that this trip is too far to bring out the best in him. The others will have to improve to take a hand in the finish, so we are happy to side with Lady Laureate.
