Verdict

Highly competitive as evinced by eight last-time winners clashing in a contest which will be run at a furious pace. This sharp track may prove too demanding for L'inganno Felice but FAIR MOUNTAIN has hacked up the last twice and will prove well suited by conditions. This does represent a major rise in grade for the Skelton inmate, but he looks progressive and is the choice of Harry Skelton over stable companion, Mister Universum, who cannot be ruled out either. The Newland team always prepare a few for this meeting and Hassle and Artful Artist represent them here. The latter is preferred of the pair whilst four-year-olds, Cubswin and Je Suis Charlie, cannot be ruled out off such light weights.
