In depth

Verdict

Miss Wachit refused to take any part when scheduled to make her reappearance over hurdles at Southwell last month. She’d also shown signs of temperament when fourth here last August so is best watched for now. Ron Burgundy finished more than two lengths ahead of the well-backed WHATABOUTYEH at Uttoxeter at the start of the month and the pair meet on the same terms here. But we’ll forgive the latter that run, his first over fences, and he can recoup losses. Chief Black Robe is back in a chase after a spell in hunter chases but his new yard is in cracking form.
