In depth
Verdict
Freddie's Comet confirmed the merit of placed efforts in novice company when making a winning handicap bow over the course and distance earlier in the month and looks sure to go well again despite a 6lb rise. Ettrick took advantage of a lenient mark when bouncing back to form at Hereford last month and remains in top form judging on his latest effort behind Jaboune last time. Thalys was outclassed behind Yorkshire at Bangor last time but is lightly raced and open to further improvement.
