In depth

Verdict

Evan Williams' pair, Oran Flyer and Behtarini, were expected to line-up at Ffos Las last night but both would have claims if diverted here instead. Mwaleshi has solid claims on an improved third at Uttoxeter and Bilbo Boggart was second over a longer trip at Fakenham in April, albeit beaten 29 lengths. Buckshee showed a bit more on his latest start over hurdles while So Bazaar has hinted at ability but we'll take a chance on the fitness of RED RIVERMAN. Still only a four-year-old, he was placed a couple of times in the autumn and this is little better than the Ludlow seller he contested when last seen.
