Verdict
Idole First, Naunton Brook and Winsley are three against the field in this novices hurdle and the confident vote goes to Idole First. The selection was a good second behind MonVillez last time under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort here should suffice under conditions that suit. Naunton Brook rates the main danger he was a fair third behind No Picnic last time and with the drying of the ground sure to suit he will not be far away. Winsley looked a horse to follow when winning his bumper but he has not progressed as expected. However he was a fair fourth behind Analogy last time and has definite place claims. Of the remainder Maconnor is from a top yard but he took a heavy fall over fences last time and may just be running here to boost his confidence so for the winner we return to Idole First.
